From Left to right, Jossette Bartlet - Simon Bates - Marion Jones

On the 5th of May 2019, I organised an event called “Tiverton Con Club Got Talent”. In total 10 acts took part, from singers, to magicians to dancers.

The contestants ages varied between 11 and 80 years old as it was a family event. As a special guest judge, we had Simon Bates Radio DJ and presenter on various radio stations.

Marion Jones - Committee member of the club and myself, also a Committee member, sat at the judges’ panel together with Simon and listened and watched the contestants perform before we deliberated in a private space a winner and runner up.
